This in the hoop (ITH) embroidery machine design allows you to make a pleated mask with a pocket. The pocket can be used to add extra filtration material. This versatile design also includes instructions for using elastic, bias tape, or ribbon to secure the mask to your face. There are also optional instructions for making the mask mold to the shape of your nose. Full assembly instructions are included.

The file comes in 8 formats and 3 different mask sizes, all for an 8×8 hoop or larger:
DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PEC, PES, VP3, XXX
- Small: best suited for kids over 3; measures approximately 3 x 5.75 inches
- Medium: best suited for teens, and adults with small to medium heads; measures approximately 3.5 x 6.75 inches
- Large: best suited for adults with larger heads; measures approximately 4 x 7.5 inches.
Stitching Order
Steps are separated by color changes. Please do not color sort or combine colors. If you are using a multi-needle machine, please set it to stop for color changes.

Required Tools
Note: This is a machine embroidery design, not a PDF for hand embroidery. You must have an embroidery machine and a method in which to transfer the design files to your machine in order to use this design.
Your files will come in a ZIP folder. You must have software to unzip the files. Once they are unzipped, you can transfer them from your computer to your embroidery machine.
